I'm Heather, and I started Nova for creative entrepreneurs.

When I went out on my own, I found myself burning out before the work was even done. There were systems to build, decisions to make, and a never-ending list of things I didn't know I was supposed to know. But the exhaustion wasn't only about the workload. I had built my work first and tried to fit my life around it, and I didn't have anyone who understood what that felt like.

The turning point was working backwards. I stopped asking how to fit my life around my work and started with the life I actually wanted. For me that was freedom to travel, space to breathe and focus on my health, flow in my creativity, and the ability to stay interested by not burning myself out. Then I built the work to fit.

It also explained something I'd always done. Every business idea I've ever had started with how it would feel to run, how it would look, and how other people would experience it. Even when I looked at opportunities that made sense on paper, like real estate and franchises, I struggled to commit to something that didn't feel like mine. Even though I could, I didn’t want to fit into someone else’s idea of success.

Along the way, I got curious about consciousness, meditation, and wellness: how the mind and body work together, why we get in our own way, and what it takes to feel steady while doing something hard. What I came to see is that most roadblocks aren't about the goal being too big, or the work being too hard. Running on empty, losing momentum, confidence, or interest… these show up in smart, capable people building things they care about. They can be understood, avoided, and overcome.

My years in design, hospitality, and operations taught me how businesses run. This health and wellness path taught me what it costs to run one without care. With Nova, I bring operational support built around the life you want, with a wellness lens, so the business works for you instead of the other way around. When you need specialized expertise, I bring in trusted people from my network, so you work with me and never start over with a stranger.

My hope is that you build something that feels as good to live inside as it looked when you first dreamed it up.
